A merchandiser is the most basic role inside of Genimex. He/she should help the company by creating value by actively managing customers an d suppliers to maximize the benefit for the company. He/she should help the company develop new customers through leads given to him/her by management an d by those sought out individually. He/she ensures the Genimex promise for quality, delivery, an d price an d strictly adheres to company policy an d ethical business practices. A Sr. Merchandiser distinguishes himself/herself by the number an d importance of acＣounts under management an d by the complexity of projects that are developed. He/she requires little active particpation from the AcＣount Manager to deliver business results.
Responsibilities
? Develop new products according to customer’s requirements
? To negotiate with makers for price with quality
? To be organized for filing for daily inquires, order files
? Understand for whole procedure from looking for products, get orders to follow details with product quality, package, inspection, delivery, etc.
? Independently creates value for the company by securing business through competive quotations an d managing new development activites effectively
? Develops strong personal relationships with key clients
? Adheres to correct business practices an d company procedures
? Strong knowledge of purchasing market an d price level as well as target consumer sales market
? Ability to perform cost analysis based on raw material prices
? Can follow for the sample approval lead time carefully
? Responsible for maintaining healthy margins an d cash flow for customers under management
? Actively pursues business development activities for the company
Work Experience Requirements
? At least 6 years working experience in merchandising at trading company Ｏr buying office for sourcing home appliance products
? Familiar with Western markets
? Expertise in project management.
? Expertise in project and/or strategic purchasing.
? Experience in buying complete products, OEM an d development
Skill Requirements
? Strong ability to read, write an d spoken in English
? Good negotiation ability,
? Self-motivated team player & willing to work under pressure
? Aggressive / responsible an d willing to travel
Education Requirement
? University degree, preferably in Marketing and/or business administration, economics, engineering Ｏr other relevant discipline
