Vortex is currently looking for new talent to support its growth in the Chinese market. Reporting to the Regional Director for China, the regional business development manger is responsible for generating new business opportunities through new prospects an d channel partners. More specifically, he/she will:
* Research new markets to gain knowledge on their specificities
* Identify customer needs
* Secure new local channel partners an d representatives
* Drive the generation of new project sales within VORTEX Solutions (Splashpads, Poolplay, Water Management Systems, etc.);
* Act as a technical an d sales consultant to internal an d external Channel Partners an d customers for assigned projects;
* Educate architects, landscape architects, aquatic designers, amusement park planners, an d the customer technical
representatives on VORTEX Solutions;
* Travel to acCount sites as needed;
* Assist customers in the designing of correct product configuration for their specific application;
* Work with remote team to produce accurate an d timely product proposals;
* Negotiate contracts an d close the business
* When required, work with the acCounting department in the collection of unpaid invoices;
* Communicate product Or service issues, as related by prospects an d existing clients to the product development team for the
adjustment an d management;
* Attend an d contribute to sales meeting discussions as required.
* Maintain the CRM database

Experience & Education
* A minimum of 4 years Field Sales experience, Chinese territory preferred
* Experience working for a North American company an asset
* Experience with complex sales
* Experience in developing an d working with sales agencies and/or distribution networks
* Bachelor’s degree required.
