处长 - 设备与资产管理处 Post Specification Key Duties an d Responsibilities: The appointee will be head of the Equipment an d Asset Management Office responsible for management, procurement, records an d audits of a wide range of University fixed assets including buildings, research / laboratory equipment an d fixtures, an d other fixed assets such as furniture an d office facilities. 1. Providing leadership an d management for the University’s fixed assets portfolio including buildings, facilities an d equipment; 2. Planning an d execution of annual fixed asset audit/taking plan, ad-hoc Or periodic reviews an d audits; 3. Coordination of external audits an d respective improvement plans; 4. Acquisition, disposition an d disposal management of fixed assets; 5. Maintenance of fixed asset list an d records; 6. Lead the implementation an d maintenance of fixed asset management system for the University; 7. Engaging in the University’s capital development projects, fixed asset utilization reviews an d enhancement initiatives. Qualifications an d Requirements: 1. Good university degree in Business, AcCounting, Engineering Or related disciplines, preferably a relevant higher degree; 2. Professional qualification e.g. in the area of fixed asset management, acCounting, audit Or membership of a relevant professional body will be an advantage; 3. Not less than 12 years of relevant experience, most part of which is at management level, preferably in a higher education institution Or public organization. He/she should have extensive experience in fixed asset management, fixed asset acCounting, project management Or audit. Significant exposure to the education sector in mainland China will be useful; 4. Strong organization ability, analytical skills an d detail oriented; 5. Outstanding interpersonal an d communication skills; 6. Excellent command of written an d spoken English an d Chinese (including Putonghua). Salary an d Benefits Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications an d experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK(SZ) an d statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labour laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
